HOW TO SAVE THE PAGE AS A WEB PAGE
You do not have to do anything to get your assignment web page on the internet.
When you clicked on the Submit button, a copy was automatically sent to
Prof. Raun and entered on the Web and the information will be sent to you by email.
This page describes what you can do to create the finished web page
after you enter your assignment problems and answers using the assignment generator.
You may create a new folder, or use an existing folder (example: Documents).
If you wish to create a new folder called Assignments, do it before running your
first Assignment Generator.
Create a new folder for your assignments called Assignments.
a. Click on My Computer (or Computer on Windows 7).
b. Click on Disk Drive C
c. Click on Make a new folder, and type in the name Assignments. Then press enter.
(FOR Windows 7 : Click on Computer, Disk Drive C, click on users, click on your name,
Click on New Folder, type Assignment. hit return key.)
Proceed as follows:
When you click the submit button at the end of the page in 10 seconds a page will appear
on your screen.
1. SAVE THIS PAGE AS A TXT FILE:
a. Click on File at top of page.
b. Click on Save Page As.
c. Be sure to write down the name of the folder that it is being saved in.
d, Erase the 0000 in the File name and enter your assignment # plus .txt (Example: 1001.txt)
e. Make sure the Save as Type is Document txt. Encoding should be ANSI.
f. Click save.

2. GO TO NOTEPAD TO MAKE CHANGES IN FILE
A. G0 to NOTEPAD.
B. Go to file in Notepad.
C. Click on OPEN.
D. Go to the folder in witch you saved the file (possibly Documents or Assignments?)
E. Click on your save file # (example: 1001
F. Erase all lines from top down to Authors line (should be 3 lines)
G. Add the following 2 lines:

File name 1001.txt
Save as type txt Document (.txt)
Encoding ANSI
I. CLICK ON SAVE
3. TO SEE THE RESULTS
A. Go to My Computer (Computer on Windows 7)
B. Click on C drive.
C. Click on your Folder name (example: Documents or Assignments).
D. Click on your file name (example: 1001)
Should be Internet Explorer or Firefox Document NOT txt doc.
